Just to understand (I think this is the first race I've done with these F1 cars ), what was your set-up last night?
There was such a difference in time and also in speed...

Hi Christian,
I made the same experience with the F1-88 like you.
The reason was a restricted setup menu in PnG3.
So I extended the setup menu for the duct parameter (duct=cooling aperture).
On the track Dessau I increased the topspeed by 9 km/h and reduced my laptime by four(!) seconds.

The extended setup menu is available since June 2022 and still on the Homepage (Latest Downloads, top right) available. See 'P&G Setuperweiterung'.

If you haven't installed it, have a try

yes, I know the advanced menu.
Surely I don't have the right settings!
I'm usually 4/5 seconds behind with fast cars, but not 10!
And xxsraser was really very fast in top speed compared to me

it is not the duct...

The next parameters responsible for speed are the wings and the engine rev:
- Try front and rear wing = 1.
- I don't believe, that the engine rev makes such a difference. But, who knows.

The cars are very different, the Ferrari and the MclLaren are the fastest cars. I would be happy to upload my setup tonight. But even with that, the ligier will not achieve the speed of the Ferrari.
