nächster Versuch mit Regenrennen, aber achtet auf die Mauer des Todes!

Wer nicht so gut mit Regen klar kommt, der Autobianchi lässt sich auch im Regen fahren.

Wird doch immer besser,
schöner Fight mit Blade bis zu meinem Dreher.

Die Autos sind zwar nicht optimal,
weil man
auch mit den Trockenreifen bei Regen fahren kann.

Wetter Datei funktionierte.
Darauf kann man aufbauen

I totally loved my Lotus Cortina. The sound was something special. And the changeable weather made the race so special.

We had a great chase with Tom and Blade during the first half of the race but it turns out that i was driving with a lot less fuel than them.

After the pit stop it began to be a little lonely for me but i had to keep my cool and focus.

Unfortunately i lost around 15 seconds in the box doe to being unable to start the car in time after the refueling but even without that lost time i was going to be unable to fight with Tom for P2.

Great racing here indeed.

Grats to Blade and Tom.

Aus dem PnG Tyre Manual:
"The Sixties tyres are all treaded, which means that you can still count on your “dry” tyres when the track is just slightly wet. Usually, the rain tyre used is the softer dry tyre.
Still, later in the decade, proper rain tyres start to appear and they ofger better grip
under more critical conditions. Optimum rain tyres temperature is similarly set at 85°C (185°F) and they happily operate at much lower than that value much like a normal street tyre, but they tend to have serious grip problems when overheated, so be careful how you use them when the track starts drying out.
Late Sixties tyres also start to have more specialized dry tread designs and can get very tricky under wet conditions. With those cars you better use the dedicated wet tyres when the track gets wet."

Die angeblich wählbaren Wet Compounds bei den 60s (wie z.B. beim Cortina) sind nur Platzhalter damit das Game nicht abstürzt (entsprechen meines Wissens dem für das jeweilige Auto verfügbaren weichsten Dry Compound). Der Dunlop CR65 970 z.B. wurde ursprünglich als Regenreifen für die F1 entwickelt.

Wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte, hätte ich mir den Stopp auch gespart. Eigentlich ist es ja logisch.
War trotzdem ein lustiges Rennen, auch wenn ich mich mit dem Auto nie ganz anfreunden konnte.
