@Christian: Turn on 'Crash Recovery' in the Advanced Game Options tab in P&G, that way you'll be put back on your wheels after a short time upside down and can continue the race.

My pedal fixation came off just on the first lap, every time I braked, the whole pedal set went forward!!.hard to do a lap in these conditions
