I'm hopeful of being able to join you tonight - fingers crossed!

I haven't done a race in GTR for such a long time. I had a question about pitting. DO you need to do a 'pit request' before entering - pressing the button i have mapped does nothing?!?

I assume there is no pit speed limit.

When you stop at the pit stall, it flashes up a screen with fuel and tyres etc., and asks to press enter to start. I assume that's normal, and there isn't a way to update this? I seem to remember being able to edit my pit stop plans whilst on track?

Finally, tyres. Obviously there is soft/medium/hard - but is there a way to see how they are wearing through a stint? I think the garage only shows pressures, no?

It finally helped to manually replace the files ... in

request for PIT in my opinion it is better to do why the button is not working I can't advise, I don't know

Enjoyed the race, fun little cars.

Lost about 45 seconds in the pits, 1) because the computer mashed it into the wall in pit lane and then 2) because i didnt have anything set so had to manually adjust tyres. After the race i installed XD tool, but i cant see where i change anything e.g. tyres/fuel.

If i press request pit there is a radio beep, but no talking. I had a pit light flash once, pressing the button turned that off. I assume thats working correctly?

The pit confirmation voiceover is turned off in P&G yes, but if the pit light is on your crew is ready, requesting pit stop while the light is on will cancel the request as you described.

In the XD-Tool you can cycle to the 2nd page for pit options with a dedicated key (usually the one below Esc, whatever that is depending on your keyboard layout ). As that key is dangerously close to accidentally pressing Esc I'd open the XD.ini in your GTR 2 install folder and look for the keybind and change it to some other free key by putting in the number for that key instead.
I for example have a US keyboard layout so I bound it to above the Enter key, far away from Esc.

On that 2nd page you navigate with the arrow keys down/up and left/right to decrease/increase/turn off things

One more question - i installed the advanced setup menu last night, which changed the garage screen quite a bit. But i also noticed an option to adjust power boost setting, which i couldnt see anywhere on the original setup screens. Is this right?

I do like the P&G menu style though. So is there a way to get the P&G style but with the advanced garage screens?
